My first meeting with the Combo Latino was pure coincidence. During an Live appearance in Baden-Baden, I sensed the racing pulse of their music and I was enthusiastic! Latin-American Rock music at its best: expressive spanish lyrics are shaded with melodic sound carpets and are packed into inflammable  percussive rhythms.This music goes in fact over the head into the legs ...

In the middle of the 70´th the band was established by three latin-americans - south-american folk music played with acoustic instruments

The musicans of COMBO LATINO are coming from Latin-America and Germany. The work with many musicans coming from everywhere on the world is givin the musical intensity and expression to the compositions. The music has been formed by the time and the added cast to that shape you can hear today: A synthesis of latin-american basic elements (rhythms and melodies of the Cumbia-, Merengue-, Rumba- , Mambo-Tradition) and northamerican-european Rock- and Jazz music. The "Salsa" who is played on the streets of Puerto Rico, Panamá, Venezuela, Columbien and Cuba also has great influence on the  music. A geat capapbility and the pleasure of the band are the many appearences of the band in clubs, during festivals and concerts all over germany and in the close foreign country.
